MADISON, Wis., October 14, 2026 – Cellular Logistics Inc., a Madison-based regenerative medicine
company, today announced an award through the Innovation to Commercialization Pipeline (ICP)
program, offered by Forward BIOLABS in partnership with BioForward Wisconsin.
The award will fund a seven-month commercialization-readiness project for iCFX, the company’s lead
product — an off-the-shelf, decellularized human iPSC-derived extracellular matrix (ECM) injectable
designed to repair heart tissue after a heart attack. Cellular Logistics will direct the funding across four
workstreams addressing the regulatory, IP, manufacturing, and investor-readiness diligence that
institutional investors evaluate before leading a Series A round.
“This award lets us convert the areas that most often stall preclinical-stage cardiac financings —
regulatory uncertainty, IP risk, manufacturing feasibility, and investor access — into concrete, vendor-
backed assets for our Series A fundraising and partnering conversations,” said Alex Vodenlich, President
and CEO of Cellular Logistics. “We’re grateful to Forward BIOLABS and BioForward Wisconsin for this
support as we advance iCFX toward an FDA IND submission.”
Deliverables are expected to be complete by end of February 2027, supporting Cellular Logistics’ Series
A round, which is set to open in the Fall 2026. Cellular Logistics is an active member of Forward BIOLABS
at University Research Park in Madison and the broader BioForward Wisconsin community.
